Don't Just Stop Bullying, Start Peace
Peace Crew 10 List
The Peace Crew is in the house. 8th graders at Tony Hillerman Middle School are going class to class to spread the message about bullying. These students are turning bullying on its head with a positive message. Bullying can't thrive in a peaceful environment. Follow these 10 steps to start peace and stop bullying.
10 Ways to Start Peace
- Step 1: Act Stand up for what's right, even if you're standing alone.
- Step 2: Unite Get your friends and other people you work well with to unite with you.
- Step 3: Support the Victim Help out people in need; everything works out better when working in numbers.
- Step 4: Do Your Homework Get proper knowledge on how to stop bullies.
- Step 5: Create an Alternative Find a better, more productive way to let out anger than bullying.
- Step 6: Speak Up Tell others about the problems that you have. If no one knows, no one can help you.
- Step 7: Lobby Leaders Get help! Get someone older or with more authority to help the cause.
- Step 8: Look Long Range Set goals to help create peace within our school.
- Step 9: Teach Tolerance Teach people to be nice to everyone no matter what so we can all help out each other. Celebrate our differences!
- Step 10: Dig Deeper Try to change things that pull us apart to things that could bring us closer together and unite us.
